Differential ion mobility is a powerful technology that enhances LC/MS/MS selectivity to solve challenging applications requiring the separation of isobaric species, co-eluting contaminants and reduction of high background noise ultimately contributing to dramatic improvements in quantitative data quality. These presentations will focus on the recent developments of differential ion mobility and its application in cellular metabolic pathways. Cellular life is built around a relatively small number of core metabolites that flow through key metabolic pathways. Often in human disease or the treatment of it, flux through these pathways can be disrupted. Therefore, it is essential to be able to measure the concentration and inter-conversion of metabolites within cells.
Participants Will Learn:
• How differential ion mobility can improve data quality of samples requiring advanced separation.
